The Action Hampshire way

A bridge to communities

Whether it’s a large charity, a small lunch club, or a social enterprise, we provide VCSE organisations with the skills, knowledge, support and funding to build their capacity, enabling them to take community led action with their communities.

History

Action Hampshire’s specialist knowledge in the voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) sector spans over 70 years.

We support the sector to deliver great services to local people and communities; speak up for the changes they would like to see and help shape the future of where they live and work.

Throughout our history, we have supported community-led action, particularly in rural areas, across Hampshire and beyond. From our work on community-led housing and planning to supporting community-led research and community resilience activity, we champion the voices of communities and lived experience.

We are proud to support diverse communities across Hampshire, including Southampton, Portsmouth, and the Isle of Wight.
