NAVCA (National Association for Voluntary and Community Action) is the national body for infrastructure organisations like Action Hampshire, and they’ve been advocating a number of issues. At Action Hampshire  our priorities mirror NAVCA’s. Here’s what they are advocating;

‘Devolve policy formation and decision-making closer to the people affected’

‘Deliver long term stable and sustainable commissioning and funding arrangements’

‘Invest in local infrastructure as the convenor, partnership enabler and capacity builder to enable communities and the VCS to thrive’

These are priorities we at Action Hampshire will continue to advocate too.

Nicky’s personal favourite

Our CEO Nicky Judd’s personal favourite quote from NAVCA is: “Local communities know what they need to thrive”.

We agree! And that’s why we’ll do all we can to support you to support your communities to take action, to have their voices heard, and to help shape policy and decision making.
