Action Hampshire is running a free learning programme for organisations that benefit their local community through trading.

Hiring out premises counts as trading, so if you’re looking to significantly increase your income from room hire (or from any other trading activity) over the coming year or two then please think about applying.

Places on the programme are fully funded and, what’s more, you’ll get a grant of at least £2,000 and up to £10,000. The exactly amount depends on how much your organisation increase its income over the learning period – this idea is called match trading, and you can find out more about it by clicking this link.

The programme is called Community Business Trade Up, but don’t be put off by the title! A ‘community business’ is just an organisation that trades and puts most of the funds generated towards benefiting the local community. Charities can qualify because lots of things that charities can do (including hiring out rooms and other facilities) qualify as trading for the purposes of this programme.

You can find this programme via this link.
