A message from our CEO, Nicky Judd…

At Action Hampshire, we believe that thriving rural communities are built on strong foundations – and affordable housing is one of the most important.

We’ve been working alongside communities for over 20 years to help bring forward affordable homes that meet local needs. We’re incredibly proud that, together with our partners, we’ve supported the creation of more than 500 affordable homes across rural Hampshire. That’s 500 families, couples, and individuals who can stay close to their support networks, send their children to the local school, or live near their work.

Rural Housing Week is a chance to shout about why this matters.

When we talk about housing strategy, growth and building connected communities, rural affordable housing must be part of the picture!

Next week, Rural Housing Week is taking over our newsletter to share stories, celebrate successes, and highlight how we can all play a part in supporting rural housing – from parish councils and local authorities, to landowners, MPs, and passionate residents.

If you’re interested in how to get started, the team are here!

Whether it’s exploring a housing needs survey, understanding the role of a landowner, or simply learning more, we’d love to chat.

Let’s keep our villages vibrant, connected and inclusive.
