We’re launching a new programme of support for social enterprises across Hampshire that are either based in a rural area or have an impact in our rural communities.

If this sounds interesting, join us online to find out more at our information session on Friday 6 November:

Friday 6 November, 13.00-14.00. Follow this link to register.

Follow this link to the social enterprise page on our website for more information.

We’ve already run one information session and here’s what one of the participants was kind enough to say afterwards:

“Thank you, today’s info session was really helpful as I now understand better what and who your rural social enterprise support programme is for. I also really valued meeting other potential applicants from the local area and hearing what they are offering and seeing how there could be possibilities for collaborations.”

We’d like to thank the Hampshire Prosperity Partnership Board, Hampshire Growth Hub, and Defra (the Government’s rural department) for funding this new support programme. It has two strands:

  • An in-depth programme for 12 participants who help run a social enterprise or have plans to start one. You must be based in a rural area of Hampshire, have an impact on people in rural Hampshire, or at least have firm plans to expand your reach into rural Hampshire. Join us at one of the info sessions we’ve set up to find out more.
  • A series of one-off training sessions on various topics around setting up and growing a social enterprise. Look out for more details soon and please tell us what topics you’d like us to cover.
