Our SOUP event was a huge success and was great fun. The event which was the first of its kind in Winchester was a sell-out.

A SOUP event is an enjoyable night out where participants can help make a difference to their community. Unlike the name suggests, it is not a Soup kitchen. Soup plays a secondary role and is eaten after four organisations pitch an idea in four mintues to the audience. Voting takes place and the organisation receiving the most votes wins the door takings. Alfie’s Arc won the pitch this year but all four organisations were given Action Hampshire membership and received presentation  coaching from social entrepreneur expert Keith McAllister

It’s a rewarding, motivating and fun night out where you can meet some extraordinary people who are clearly passionate about their cause. There’s also the opportunity to meet members of the audience, many of whom are charity workers or social entrepreneurs. It’s a chance to network and find common ground, share ideas and generate connections.

If your organisation would like to get involved in a SOUP event and/or become a sponsor we’d love to hear from you. We’ve already had interest from some organisations wishing to collaborate, so please do get in touch.  Please contact hannah.henshaw@actionhampshire.org
