The Hordle Community Association (HCA), available via this link, began in March 1989 (as a registered charity) by a well-known local figure Reg Wareham, bringing together the village community using village activities, events and support groups that would enable the Hordle Community to socialise and thrive together as a community.

The HCA secured lottery funding and built a Sports and Community Pavilion on its large recreation ground at the heart of the village supporting a wide range of facilities and activities:

We aim to host events to raise funds that continue to support our community and have recently achieved an 86% booking capacity on the hall. We stage Spring and Christmas Fayres along with the Annual Summer Village Fayre anticipated and well attended by villagers.

As we expand our activities, the need for more funding and manpower grows to enhance the Pavilion to encourage more village groups and residents to use the Pavilion. Our talented group of volunteers surpass themselves every week so come and join us, give us a call at 01425 517944, email via this link or visit the HCA website by clicking this link
