Munch is a Social Enterprise based in Winchester, UK, run by husband and wife team, Mary and Denzil Needham-Carlton. They create bespoke events catering, corporate catering, party catering, private and charity events. They also offer personalised nutrition consultation, private individual, family and group cooking classes, food demonstrations around cooking and healthy eating.
As well as this, they deliver an extensive Community Cooking programme, offering fun, structured, fully inclusive workshops for families with children, young people, adults with learning disabilities, and disadvantaged groups.
Taking away the fear of cooking
They aim to take the fear out of cooking and help people to develop the skills and confidence they need to cook from scratch, build a healthy relationship with food, adopt a sustainable approach to cooking, strengthen financial resilience and waste less.
Tackling health inequalities
They are passionate about fighting health inequalities, empowering communities and helping individuals make healthy changes to adopt a more sustainable approach to food and nutrition.
This is why all profits generated by our commercial enterprises are used to support our community workshops.
