Friday Night Club aims to improve the well-being of adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health issues through activities that help them feel valued, and be valued, within their community.

FNC has steadily grown; having been established in 2008 as a voluntary grit it converted to a CIC in 2016. FNC now have over 100 people attending one or more of the activities offered.

FNC have activities running most days of the week throughout the year at different venues which are run by our volunteers and individual support staff.

In addition to monthly Club Nights for socialising, FNC also organise

  • Arts, Crafts, and Music Sessions
  • visits to Knowle Haven which includes archery and off-roading
  • Lifestyles Catering Group
  • trips to Wey and Arun Canal

FNC has recently been granted several acres of land on which to build a small outdoor activity centre, to provide activities such as archery, a horticultural group and a track for off-road buggies. Pending planning permission, FNC is also looking to set up a marquee, which they would like to share with other groups and partners. Their challenge for this year is to fundraise to make their plans into reality.
