This is a community building with a difference. Like many village halls it has a history of renovations, an impressive calendar of events, a dedicated team of volunteers, a perfect space for hire and is a vital asset to the community. But how does it stand out from the crowd?

The hall has developed a unique space dedicated to ‘well-being’. Called the Wellhouse, the venue offers the community the opportunity to access well-being support close to home. This aligns closley with the NHS’ vision to bring care to the community.

Improving the health of the community and easing NHS pressure

The Wellhouse offers a place where people can explore ways to support their physical, emotional and social well-being before challenges escalate. Spaces like this empower individuals to take small, meaningful steps towards better health, while helping to ease pressure on the NHS.

Helping people feel healthier and more connected
Today, The Wellhouse is home to over 25 skilled practitioners, all united by a shared purpose: supporting people to enhance and restore their wellbeing. Alongside these are community-led activities such as Art and Bridge classes, offering simple but powerful opportunities for connection and creativity.
While approaches may differ, the intention is the same, to help people feel healthier, more connected and more supported. Their hope is that there is something here for everyone.

Would you like to get involved?
The Wellhouse is more than just a room. It is a shared space where community, collaboration and wel-lbeing come together. If you would like to be part of their growing community, they would love to hear from you. The picture below shows a sensory movement class for those with additional needs.
