ACRE, available via this link, is our national partner charity, and are organising the event! And they’re looking for village halls across England to take part – please use this week as an opportunity to publicise your building and your organisation!
You can tell people about the various activities and groups that take place at your hall, the facilities you have available for people to hire themselves, interesting features or historical events…
In particular, note the opportunity to ‘share your history’ on Thursday 23 January. If your hall has had famous visitors, has been used for significant events, or if there’s any interesting historical features – Thursday is the day to share!
