Have you heard about our new Safe & Warm Communities project? Action Hampshire has been funded by SGN to provide Energy Awareness training to our partners in the VCSE sector.

Are you beneficiaries struggling with their fuel bills?

We know many VCSE organisations are supporting people who are struggling with fuel bills and who may find it difficult to keep safe and warm at home. Together with SGN (Southern Gas Networks) we are delivering a project to help people understand how to reduce energy costs.

Project delivery: the story so far

We’re only a couple of months in to this project and already things are moving fast. We have recruited new colleagues to our team and they have undergone energy training to increase their knowledge and skills in the area of energy. We have provided two free online Energy Awareness workshops with more planned for the Autumn. These workshops help provide information on how to reduce energy costs, help for vulnerable households and carbon monoxide awareness.

How you can help those struggling?

If you know individuals who finding it challenging to keep safe and warm, why not increase your Energy Awareness knowledge and join one of our FREE online workshops. Recent participants said the workshops were ‘extremely informative and valuable’ and ‘engaging and innovative’.

Join the next workshop!

Our next free online Energy Awareness workshop will be held on Zoom:

Wednesday 25 September 13:00-15.30

If you ‘re interested in joining one of our workshops, please do get in touch.

Grants available

Action Hampshire provides grants of £500 to VCSE organisations to support them in providing energy and carbon monoxide safety advice to their beneficiaries. Please note, to be eligible for the grant you must attend a workshop first.
