What is a SOUP event?
A SOUP event is a community event which sees worthy causes get funding, voted for local people! Attendees pay £5 to attend and you get a delicious bowl of soup, bread, and a chance to vote to support good local causes. Shortlisted applicants will pitch their ideas and get the opportunity to chat with other community leaders and attendees about their project. After the presentations, the audience will discuss and debate while they eat, before voting for their favourite project.
The winner will receive £500 + ticket sales

Do you have a brilliant community idea or project that supports communities in Hampshire and are looking for funding to get started or keep going?
Then why not pitch your idea at Action Hampshire’s first SOUP event! SOUP! is a fantastic way to raise money, tell people about your work, build community support, and get connections to local resources that may be able to help you carry out your project.
We’re looking for projects that support communities in Hampshire, so if you’re a project, club, school, social enterprise or not-for-profit organisation APPLY NOW by giving us a summary of your project, how much money you need to get started and what the outcomes are likely to be.
All projects selected to pitch will be offered 60 minutes free 1:1 coaching to help them develop and present their idea.

Come along to Action Hampshire’s SOUP event where you’ll have the power to vote for your favourite community project and make a difference!
It’s a fantastic opportunity to network, find out about good causes, and make a difference!
Four shortlisted community projects will each have a short slot to pitch their idea and take questions from the audience. The audience enjoy a bowl of homemade SOUP while they consider the options before voting for their favourite project.
The winning pitch receives the money made through ticket sales + £500
