‘In a profit driven world, we bring something different’ Gregory White, Founding Director

From the very beginning, Drop the Mask Productions CIC’s mission was embedded into their company DNA: ‘We challenge. We find solutions. We empower.’ This is what they proudly stand by with everything they do. They believe they are not an average IT and Media company, but one which puts the community first.

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), all profit is injected back into the community. Whether that involves creating events and workshops to help empower others in gaining and developing new skills, or in providing work experience or placements. They are driven by their staff and the people they collaborate with. They strive to be consistently transparent and build meaningful relationships with clients to ensure they are clear and honest about what they do.

One example of their most recent work  is ‘The Inclusive Film Festival 2023’, which will launch on Saturday 25 November 13:00 – 18:00 at Central Hall in Southampton.

The delivery of this event carries a real sense of pride and accomplishment for the organisation. The films cover various topics including mental health, addiction, recovery and much more, in sensitive and creative ways. This festival aims to empower people with lived experiences to work with local filmmakers and give them a way to showcase their work.
