Action Hampshire is inviting local voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations to play a vital role in shaping the future of urgent care services across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Working in partnership with NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight, this project aims to gather real, community-led feedback on integrated urgent care services, including NHS 111, GP services, pharmacies, and urgent care centres. By bringing together the voices of local organisations and the people they support, we can help ensure future services truly reflect the needs, challenges, and experiences of our communities.

Why get involved?

Your organisation has valuable insight into how people access and experience urgent care. This is an opportunity to:

  • Share your knowledge and front-line experience
  • Amplify the voices of your community
  • Influence the development of future NHS services
  • Receive funding to support your participation

Two ways to take part

We are offering two funded opportunities for organisations to get involved:

Focus Groups
Up to 15 organisations will receive £100 to attend a 2-hour online focus group. These sessions will bring organisations together to share insights and discuss key themes.

Dates available: Monday 18 May, Thursday 28 May or Wednesday 3 June (one representative per organisation).

Community Conversations
Up to 5 organisations will receive £200 to host their own community focus group, engaging at least 10 service users. This is a chance to gather deeper feedback directly from the people you work with. Sessions must take place before the end of June, with feedback submitted by 10 July.

Organisations are welcome to apply for one or both opportunities.

The insights gathered through these sessions will be shared with NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight, helping to inform future planning and ensure services are more accessible, responsive, and effective for local people.
