As we step into 2026, we want to wish all our members, partners and communities a very happy New Year! We hope you’ve had time to rest, reflect, and look ahead – because we certainly have, and we have a lot to be excited about.
This year promises to be a significant one for Action Hampshire.
At the end of the month, we’ll be hosting our AGM alongside the second year of the Hampshire Changemaker Awards. With 10 inspiring categories, the awards will once again celebrate individuals and organisations across the county who are doing life-changing, essential work in their communities. We can’t wait to shine a light on the passion, innovation and commitment that make Hampshire’s VCSE sector so extraordinary.
We’re also excited to be growing our team.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be welcoming new staff and trustees who will help strengthen our work and shape the next chapter of Action Hampshire. (Bios to follow!)
Looking ahead, 2026 marks the start of some important changes.
We’ll be sharing updates to our membership offer and launching our new three-year strategy, setting out how we will continue to build a sustainable future for the organisation and for the VCSE organisations we support.
Our commitment to our projects remains as strong as ever.
From Communities Against Cancer and Raising Voices in Research, to Safe and Warm and Let’s Be Smokefree Hampshire (to name just a few!), we will continue to work across a wide range of programmes that support people, improve wellbeing and strengthen communities. And, as always, we’ll do this the “Action Hampshire way” – working with and alongside VCSE organisations who know their communities first hand, supporting people in the ways that work best for them.
