Spreading awareness of cancer to avoid late diagnosis

We are delighted to have received the first grant applications for our Communities Against Cancer (CAC) project!

We are now well underway in our most recent phase of CAC and will be awarding the first grants to VCSE organisations across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight very soon!

Funded by Wessex Cancer Alliance, the CAC project is about improving early diagnosis and supporting communities who may face barriers, health inequalities and be a greater risk of a late cancer diagnosis. We have been busy supporting groups and delivering online cancer awareness workshops to the sector to help everyone feel more confident about talking about cancer.

If you are a local VCSE organisation and would like to find out more information about the CAC project and if you are eligible to apply for a grant, or you wish to book on to our next online Information session or Cancer Awareness Workshop, then please follow this link to the Communities Against Cancer webpage
