There are no deadlines, and applications can be made any time

The BlueSpark Foundation makes grants to schools, community groups, clubs, societies and not-for-project organisations which support the education and development of children and young people. The majority of grants awarded will be up to £2,000 but a handful of grants up to £5,000 may be considered.

The foundation supports a wide range of academic, vocational, artistic and sporting projects. They are particularly keen to support projects which will enhance self-confidence, team working skills and future employability of children and young people.

Eligible expenditure could include:

  • Educational materials
  • Musical, Sports, Arts & Design and IT equipment
  • Music/Drama tuition
  • Educational events and excursions
  • Seed funding for enterprise projects
  • Training courses for young people

The foundation only supports projects which benefit those aged between 5 and 22 years old and will not support capital projects, counselling services, student fees/maintenance costs, holiday clubs, playgroups or training for adults who work with children or young people.

Applications can be made any time via the online form http://bluesparkfoundation.org.uk/how-to-apply/.
