Application deadline:  14 April 2026

The Charles Burnett Memorial Fund is now open for applications. The theme for this fund is ‘Our Community – New Forest & Waterside’. It seeks to use a community based response to help people be part of and thrive within their local community.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Fund are looking to fund community organisations delivering grassroots activities that effectively reach New Forest residents, helping them build meaningful social links and opportunities within their local community. This could include a project that supports older people whose lives are impacted by bereavement, a club for young people to help them build connections, face-to-face, or an initiative that helps LGBTQ+ individuals to be part of a peer network.

Maximum Grant: Up to £10,000 per year for two years (up to £20,000 over 24 months)

Location: New Forest (based on New Forest District Council borders)

Please read the grant criteria in detail before submitting an application, which can be accessed via this link: https://hiwcf.org.uk/charles-burnett-memorial-fund-skillsbooster-new-forest/
