Application deadline: 31 March 2026

Grants of up to £1,000 are available to a wide range of organisations in England, Scotland and Wales for local good causes that address food poverty, support low-income families, older people and those living in a neighbourhood who are disadvantaged and vulnerable. Environmental, recycling and reducing waste initiatives, as well as youth sports teams, can also be funded. Projects must be based in an area in which a One Stop Store is currently accepting applications.

In particular, the programme is intended to:

  • Address food poverty.
  • Improving the environment.
  • Reducing and/or recycling waste.
  • Running Youth Sports Teams.
  • Support low-income families.
  • Support older people/the elderly, and
  • Support people who are vulnerable.

Before starting an application, applicants should first use the Store Locator to check the distance to the local One Stop store and whether funding is currently available there. Please note that not all stores are involved in this programme.

Further information and guidance notes are available on the https://www.groundwork.org.uk/one-stop-community-partnership/.   An online application form is available, but organisations must first register with Flexi Grant for an account. Instructions are provided in the guidance notes.
