Application deadline: none
Since the Lionesses first lifted the UEFA Women’s EURO trophy in 2022, over 68,000 more girls have started playing football. The Premier League, The FA and Government’s Football Foundation, are committed to making sure women and girls have access to safe, welcoming and inspiring places to play.
Late kick-offs, poor lighting, and unsuitable changing facilities are just a few of the barriers that stop women and girls from stepping onto the pitch. Facilities should work for everyone – and that means making thoughtful, inclusive choices at every stage of a project.
That’s where the Lionesses HERe to Play Fund comes in.
What is the purpose of the Lionesses HERe to Play Fund?
The fund aims to elevate the experience of women and girls in football by creating inclusive, welcoming, and high-quality environments that support female participation at every level.
