The Foundation is looking to award grants to the following requests:

  • Financing education in the UK and abroad by making grants to schools’ core costs and assisting the disadvantaged;
  • Funding the relief of poverty and those in hardship or distress in the UK and abroad;
  • Promoting and developing theatrical, musical and dramatic arts by a variety of means including education, theatre refurbishment/restoration programmes and the support of a broad range of theatre productions for the enjoyment and education of the public at large; Funding medical research and the relief of sickness generally;
  • Providing grants to environmental projects aimed at the conservation, protection and enhancement of nature in the UK and abroad; and
  • Funding community-based projects where often a relatively small grant can make a big impact to many people both immediately and into the future.

Apply in writing to the correspondent outlining details of the organisation, details of the project for which funding is required and a breakdown of the costs involved. Supporting documentation should be kept to a minimum and a stamped addressed envelope enclosed if materials are to be returned. The Trustees meet in May and October in plenary session, but a grants committee meets weekly to consider grants of up to £10,000. The Foundation responds to all applications in writing and the process normally takes between 4-6 weeks.

Applications may be made at any time in writing to info@camack.co.uk
