Application deadline: none – applications may be made at any time in writing

The Britwell Trust is a small, family-based Trust with its principal office in Andover, Hampshire. The trust, which has two trustees – Lady Rosemary Tennant and Christopher Tennant – is discretionary in nature. Its charitable objectives are to “apply its capital and income for such general charitable purposes, charitable institutions or charitable foundations in such manner as the trustees in their absolute discretion think fit”.

Generally, a limited number of small grants of under £2,000 are available to UK registered charities for general charitable purposes. However, the Trust’s record of awarding grants indicates a preference for supporting charities working in the areas of the arts, health, hospices, hospitals and support for armed forces veterans.

Please note that the Trust does not have a website. Further information is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.

Applications may be made at any time in writing, addressed to:

Lady Rosemary Tennant and Christopher Tennant, Trustees, The Britwell Trust, Britwell Priors, Longparish, Andover SP11 6QR
