ROSA is a UK-wide organisation that supports women’s initiatives. Its vision is of equality and justice for women and girls across the UK. The charity aims to raise and distribute money to women’s initiatives and influence other to do the same. It funds initiatives in the priority areas of:

o Economic justice.
o Equal representation.
o Health & well-being, and
o Women’s safety.

ROSA’s Voices from the Front Line grant programme provides one-off grants of up to £10,000 for activities in the UK that women’s organisations undertake in order to raise women’s voices and challenge inequality. The primary aims of the scheme are to:

1. Amplify the voices of individual women at the Frontline of grassroots work in the UK.
2. Support campaigning, advocacy and activists working across any one of Rosa’s four pillars, and/or
3. Support work which can, long-term, tackle the underlying causes of challenges women face.

In order to apply, organisations must:

  • Be non-profitable and run predominantly by, for and with women. Applicants do not have to be a registered charity, but the group’s activities must be charitable, legal and for the benefit of women.
  • Have a governing body with at least 3 unrelated members
  • Have a UK-based bank or building society account in the organisation’s name with at least two unrelated signatories.
  • Have a written governing document; for example, a constitution or set of rules, and
  • Have been active for at least one year and can produce annual accounts for a full year.

To apply, eligible applicants should:

1. Submit the brief online application form available on ROSA’s website.
2. Send a video (which should be no more than 3 minutes long) by We Transfer, detailing how ROSA’s funding will be used.

ROSA have scheduled 2 free-to-attend Information Webinars for potential applicants. These will be held via Zoom and are scheduled for:

o Monday 10th November 2025 from 10:30-11:30am. Registration can be made at this LINK.
