Application deadline:  None – applications may be made at any time in writing

The Thomas J Horne Memorial Trust, sometimes referred to as the Horne Trust, is a family-based grant making charity that makes small grants primarily to the hospice movement and related charities in the UK, but also to other organisations such as those aiding disabled and homeless people as well as third world self-help groups.

In general, the Trust awards grants to the same portfolio of organisations each year, indicating that it may prove challenging for charities and hospices that haven’t previously received a grant to secure a donation.  Grants awarded are generally for under £10,000 with the occasional higher grant.

Please note that the Trust does not have a website. Further information is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.

To enquire about making an application for a grant, write to the Trust at the following the address: The Trustees, The J Horne Memorial Trust, Kingsdown, Warmlake Road,
Chart Sutton, Maidstone, ME17 3RP
