The fund is now open, and will close on 29th October 2025.

Sovereign Network Group (SNG) have announced the launch of the SNG Winter Wishes Fund 2025 which will provide microgrants to groups working in SNG communities delivering projects that help our communities and customers over the festive period!

Grants of up to £1,000 will be available to support activities aimed at relieving financial pressures, alleviating feelings of social isolation and loneliness and supporting mental health and festive activities.

Projects must be taking place in an SNG community and be actively promoted to SNG customers.

Your project must take place within one of our key operating areas – priority will be given to projects that are able to demonstrate, in their project pitch, how their activities will directly benefit SNG customers and communities

❌ Unfortunately SNG are unable to fund projects that are not taking place within their SNG communities.

This winter they will be focussing the Winter Wishes Fund on the following priorities:Magic Moments:  Projects that create joyful, magical Christmas experiences for children who might otherwise miss out. Funding will ensure every child feels seen, celebrated, and surrounded by love and Christmas spirit. Examples include special gifts, festive outings, warm meals, or unique holiday experiences.
Food Insecurity & Food Poverty:  Projects that support those struggling with basic needs during the festive season. Examples include food hampers, warm packs, hot meals, advice and support services.
Mental Health:  Projects that promote emotional wellbeing during December. Examples include support groups, creative therapy sessions and drop-in wellbeing services.
Loneliness & Isolation:  Projects that connect people who may feel alone or disconnected during the winter period. Examples include Christmas dinners, creative community hubs, intergenerational activities, befriending schemes.
Community Led Action:  Community Led initiatives that bring people together by encouraging charitable acts of service to tackle hardship and/or loneliness over the winter period.
Funding can be used for:  Equipment relating to the activities
– Staffing/volunteer costs

– Other direct project costs
