Deadline 2025/04/17 StreetSmart – Youth Homelessness Support Fund

Application deadline – 17 April 2025

Grants ranging from £2,000 to £40,000 are available to charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs), Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs), and other non-profit organisations through the StreetSmart Youth Homelessness Support Fund 2025. This initiative, launched by LandAid in partnership with StreetSmart, aims to address youth homelessness by funding projects that provide housing and employment opportunities for vulnerable individuals aged 16 to 25.​

The fund supports activities such as creating new homes, expanding housing options, facilitating access to various forms of accommodation—including emergency, supported, or move-on housing—and implementing preventative measures to avert homelessness. 

Priority will be given to projects that meet the following criteria:

  • Creating homes and broadening the range of housing options available to young people,
  • Support young people into accommodation (emergency, supported or move-on accommodation),
  • Help ensure young people do not experience homelessness in the first place,
  • Work with cohorts of young people where there is an identified, growing homelessness need,
  • Where our funding will make a tangible difference to the project’s long-term sustainability.

Grant allocations vary by region, with up to £40,000 available for projects in London. Smaller grants are designated for other regions including Hampshire, reflecting the distribution of funds raised through public dining contributions.​  

The application process consists of two stages, beginning with an initial submission within the specified timeframe.
