Deadline: 23 June 2023

Hampshire County Council has been awarded over £14 million from the DWP’s Household Support Fund, to use by 31 March 2024 and they intend to work with community and voluntary sector partners to provide direct support, particularly focussing on food and utility costs, to vulnerable households throughout the period. A fund of £1.3 million is being allocated to Community Grants so that community organisations can support initiatives tailored to local needs. Community groups are invited to apply for Community Grant funding to deliver projects and activities that help directly support vulnerable households with the cost of food, utilities, and associated advice. Projects and activities must be implemented by 31 March 2024.

There are three application windows for organisations to apply for a community grant:

6 June to 23 June 2023
7 September to 6 October 2023
4 January to 26 January 2024
