We are delighted to announce that our Communities Against Cancer project is returning and we have grants available for cancer awareness projects!

Incase you missed it…

We have an upcoming Online Information Session so you can learn more about the project. This will be held online via Zoom on Thursday 13 July, 13:00 – 14:00.

You can register for the session via this link here

This time…

Communities Against Cancer grants are open to charities, community groups and social enterprises working in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight supporting people in the following groups:

  • People with learning disabilities
  • People on low incomes
  • People experiencing mental health challenges
  • People from minority ethnic groups who may face health inequity including Black and Asian communities and Gypsy, Romany & Traveller communities.

The project is about raising awareness of cancer, helping improve early diagnosis and encouraging people to attend cancer screening. You don’t need to know anything about cancer as Action Hampshire will provide ongoing support and you can access our free cancer awareness workshops.

If you’re unable to attend but would like further information about Communities Against Cancer, then please let us know!
