Working together with local communities to build a healthier Hampshire and Isle of Wight is a priority for us at Action Hampshire

Did you know, we are currently working alongside our Communities Against Cancer partner, Wessex Cancer Alliance (WCA) to engage the local community to provide guidance on an upcoming cancer awareness campaign? Our Communications Specialist, Alex Robertson explains why this is so important.

“Co-design is a really valuable activity to ensure a message will be received, understood, and acted upon by its target audience. Adopting The Action Hampshire Way methodology, we believe the best people to drive real change in the community are community members themselves”.

Alex is running a number of co-design sessions across Hampshire in October and November to help WCA develop their campaign material.
