Did you know that 75% of Hampshire is classified as rural? It’s a very significant percentage of Hampshire’s geographical coverage and consequently a major priority for us at Action Hampshire. When it comes to talking about Hampshire’s rural community there’s plenty to share with you.

In Hampshire there are over 224 community buildings, many of these are village halls. These establishments are at the heart of the community and at Action Hampshire, we strive to help you make the most out of them.

60 years ago, one of the ways we supported rural communities was by providing courses in tractor hydraulics and electrics? Over the years, the type of support the Rural Community Council offers has changed dramatically. In the newsletter below, we interview Rosalind Rutt, an ambassador for rural Hampshire who hi-lights some of the changes.
