Join us to celebrate the work of The Bill Sargent Trust!

The Trust was established in 1994 and ran independently for many years, producing a variety of research reports. The Trust is now closing and we’d love if you could join us to celebrate all the research conducted over the years, including the final study which focussed on the impact of services on service users’ mental health.

Our work with the trust

From June 2023 – 2024, Action Hampshire worked with the Society of St James Service User and Residents Association to deliver one final research project on behalf of The Bill Sargent Trust. The Trust is a research charity that demonstrates the need for housing and funding support in and around Hampshire (including Portsmouth and Southampton) by commissioning research into issues related to poverty and homelessness.

What can you expect at this event?

Short presentations from a trustee from The Bill Sargent Trust, research participants, and Action Hampshire. Access to engaging research findings and outputs. Networking opportunity with VCSE organisations and community members. Light lunch provided.
