As part of Action Hampshire’s Safe & Warm Communities project, we are raising awareness and providing helpful information about energy this autumn.

Out in the community!

It was wonderful to launch this with a recent visit to the friendly MHA group at St. Francis Church, Chandlers Ford. Here, we chatted with the members about how to reduce energy, the importance of sending meter readings to energy suppliers and how to reduce draughts. We also discussed keeping safe with gas appliances and the importance of have Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarms.

“The MHA members really enjoyed meeting your team and found the energy awareness talk very interesting. As a result of hearing how important carbon monoxide alarms are in the home one of our members has already had these installed. It was particularly helpful that members were able to sign up to the Priority Services Register which will be of huge benefit should any future problems arise.”
Gill Domini, MHA
