Building on the success of last year’s event, on Friday 8 November we hosted our second ‘Raising the Voice of the VCSE Sector’ at The Arc in Winchester. We were joined by partners from across the sector, representing communities and organisations.

Attendees had the opportunity to have open discussions with members of the Hampshire Leadership Forum. Julie Amies from the Hampshire Health and Well-being Board talked about the importance of co-production and using lived experience to help influence strategy.

Daniel Neat from Basingstoke Voluntary Action and Victoria Brown from HCC Adult’s Health and Social Care also hosted round table discussions.

This was followed by two lively and informative workshops – ‘An introduction to energy awareness’ and ‘What makes a rural community thrive’.

An introduction to impact measurement

Our Community Researcher Jess Johnson delivered an interactive impact measurement presentation to a very engaged full house! She talked through the importance of measuring impact and presented a structure for ensuring it is measured effectively. We have created a guidance booklet about impact measurement which is free to download (see below).
