We are proud to announce that Action Hampshire has renewed our commitment to be a Disability Confident Committed employer!

Disability Confident is a government scheme which encourages employers to think differently about disability and take action to improve how they recruit, retain and develop disabled people. It has been developed by employers and disabled people’s representatives to make it rigorous but easily accessible, particularly for smaller businesses.

Rosie Duffy, Action Hampshire’s Office Manager, who was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s, says, “Action Hampshire is doing everything it can to support me with my disability and is actively making reasonable adjustments to help me work happily, safely and effectively. Renewing our status as a Disability Confident Committed employer will build on the steps Action Hampshire is already taking to become as an inclusive employer as possible.”
