We are delight to invite you to our event: Raising the voice of the VCSE sector

Thursday 29 June, 9:30 – 13:00 / Shawford Parish Hall
Join your peers and Action Hampshire for a morning of speakers, round table discussion, networking and refreshments.
You can book a place through our member platform, but all are welcome you don’t need to be a member.

The Hampshire Leadership Forum (HLF) ensures voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector representation is on various county-wide boards. These include Hampshire Health and Wellbeing Board and Hampshire Safeguarding Adult’s Board as well as representation for key areas within the community, e.g. social enterprise and disability organisations. We have a core membership of representatives who meet regularly and seek to increase engagement between the VCSE and public sectors, with someone from the public sector often being invited to present at a meeting.

Our event on Thursday 29 June, is a chance for the wider local VCSE sector to benefit from hearing from these public sector colleagues, as well as having the chance to ask questions and network with them through a series of round table discussions. Many VCSE organisations have been, or are currently, reliant on public sector funding, but it’s important that the sector is not just seen as a recipient of funding but that it has the knowledge and experience to actively collaborate in the design and commissioning of services.

This is your chance to ensure your voice is heard!
