Let’s Be Smokefree is funded by Hampshire County Council’s Public Health Team and aims to empower voluntary, social enterprise and community organisations to support their communities to quit smoking.
We’re offering workshops, grants, and direct support to VCSE organisations across Hampshire. Participating organisations will be supported to:
- Deliver community-led activities that increase knowledge and motivation to quit smoking
- Promote awareness of wider tobacco control issues, including the risks of passive smoking, health inequalities, and the availability of cigarettes to young people
- Provide peer support, signpost individuals and make referrals to Smokefree Hampshire’s free, flexible stop smoking support service
Project Partners
Want to get involved?
VCSE organisations who support anyone who lives, works or is registered with a GP in Hampshire can join one of our free Let’s Be Smokefree workshops and apply for a grant to support their communities to quit smoking. You’ll have access to free resources and a toolkit to support people’s journey to quit smoking in the way which suits them best and a supportive network to help you deliver your project.
Grants
Grants of £2,000 are available to groups that have attended a workshop and can support 30+ members of their community and facilitate engagement with Smokefree Hampshire’s free stop smoking service.
