Recovery Connections is a Lived Experience Recovery Organisation, supporting people into recovery from substance use addiction in multiple areas of the North East. Recovery Connections has recently been commissioned to deliver a Recovery Ambassador programme within Hampshire.

The programme is centred in and around three key areas: Gosport, Fareham and Havant. We have initially been commissioned to deliver and support the programme for one year (until October 2025) –  with a review for a further delivery for another year (until October 2026). Our Recovery Ambassador course is a well-established programme which supports learners in recovery to build a range of skills and aptitudes.

The ambition is to deliver the programme across the three key localities and to create and nurture a community of people in recovery, as Recovery Ambassadors, to then use the skills acquired within their own communities.
