Hart Voluntary Action (HVA) is constituted as a Council for Voluntary Services, drawing its membership from voluntary and community organisations which provide support and activity to Hart residents in North East Hampshire. HVA’s primary purpose is to assist with developing the capacity of the local voluntary and community sector and we do this through training, one-to-one advice and guidance, networking and promotions. Our Volunteer Centre promotes opportunities for Hart residents to give their time and matches potential volunteers with volunteer roles for our member organisations.

HVA also runs its own frontline services to support local residents directly with health and wellbeing and involving people in volunteering being a common thread. Our current services include a range of counselling services for children, young people, parents and adults, a programme of weekly health walks for adults of all ages, emotional/wellbeing support for young carers/young adult carers living in Hart and Rushmoor, and our newest project an accessible community garden for wellbeing.
