Life Education is the children’s health and emotional well-being charity, who through early intervention education empowers children to make healthy choices and avoid risky behaviours that can damage their health and their futures.

We work to prevent substance misuse, obesity and mental health problems in young people.  Our goal is to support children with life skills to grow up healthy and safe online and in the real world. Last year, we reached over 110,000 children aged 3 to 11-years old living in Thames Valley and Wessex through our workshops delivered into schools.  We reach nearly 30,000 children across Hampshire every year.

Partnering with school communities, our projects reduce harmful drinking, smoking and drug-taking. Our work is unique – we help children make healthy choices by developing their confidence, resilience and relationship skills. Children learn to navigate peer pressure, bullying and risky behaviours and we help them cope with the transition to secondary school and prepare for life and work in modern Britain.

Our values of Safety, Caring, Achievement, Resilience and Friendship (SCARF) are at the heart of everything we do. Together, our innovative health, well-being and drug education workshops and SCARF teaching resources promote healthier families and safer communities by reducing anti-social behaviour and crime.
